Classic Clip-in Hair

Classic clip-in hair extensions are designed for easy, at-home application. Here’s how they work:

1. Wefts with Clips: Each extension set includes hair wefts with small clips sewn onto the base. These clips are what secure the extensions to your natural hair.

2. Preparing Your Hair: Start by sectioning off your natural hair, typically beginning at the nape of your neck. You’ll work your way up towards the crown, applying extensions as you go.

3. Applying the Extensions: Open the clips on the weft, position them close to the roots of your sectioned hair, and then snap the clips shut to secure them. Continue this process, layering the extensions beneath your natural hair until all wefts are in place.

4. Blending: Once the extensions are applied, release the top section of your natural hair to cover the clips. This ensures that the extensions blend seamlessly and remain invisible.

5. Removing the Extensions: To remove, simply open the clips and gently detach the wefts from your hair. This process is quick and does not cause any damage to your natural hair.

Classic clip-in extensions offer a simple, non-permanent solution for adding length and volume, with the flexibility to apply and remove them whenever you like.

Just like your own hair, Bela Hair extensions can be straightened, blow-dried, styled, and curled. However, to preserve and extend the lifespan of your Bela Hair extensions, we recommend always using a heat protectant spray before styling.

Additionally, we suggest using a low heat setting of 120°C/250°F, as anything higher may risk damaging the hair. The reason for opting for a lower heat setting is to prolong the lifespan of your extensions. While our natural hair can often handle higher heat, it also benefits from constant revitalization from the scalp, whereas hair extensions don’t receive that ongoing nutrition.

Creating a good routine with your Bela Hair extensions from the start will help prolong their lifespan. Since they are made from 100% Remy human hair, they can be styled and washed just like your regular hair. However, it’s important to remember that the more you wash and heat style your extensions, the shorter their lifespan will be, so try to minimize washing and product use.

Please note that the care instructions differ for the Curly Clip-In Ponytail Extension compared to the Straight Clip-In Ponytail Extension. To preserve the curl pattern, we don’t recommend dyeing/toning, using water-based products, washing, or heat styling (such as straightening, blow-drying, or curling). Additionally, we suggest using only a wide-tooth comb or your hands to brush through the curly ponytail.

Keep in mind that unlike your natural hair, which benefits from the oils on your scalp, hair extensions don’t have a natural hydration source. Therefore, keeping them hydrated is essential for maintaining their shine and condition.
